Measures to support accessibility

PreActiv takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of PreActiv:

  • Provide continual accessibility training for our staff.
  • Assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities.
  • Employ formal accessibility quality assurance methods.
  • Review accessibility against WCAG 2.1 AA on a regular basis
Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. PreActiv is fully conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Fully conformant means that the content fully conforms to the accessibility standard without any exceptions.

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 (the 'accessibility regulations'). Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology

PreActiv is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • The technology is supported natively in widely-distributed user agents that are also accessibility supported (such as HTML and CSS)

PreActiv is not compatible with:

  • Modifying the line height or spacing of text

Accessibility of PreActiv relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer:

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript

These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.
